Joseph Wilson
Principal
Joseph Wilson has had design in his blood for as long as he can remember, his curiosity for drawing & design translated into a degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University.
After working for notable area Landscape Architects (Pollack Design Associates) & Landscape Design/Build Contractors (Vidosh Landscape, 3C’s Landscaping & Gethsemane Landscape Architecture Builders). In 2003 Joe set out to develop a landscape design office in his own image.
Joe continually delivers his clients award-winning, cost effective, and professional solutions to all their design & landscape design/construction needs.
Ashlee Daiek
Director of Operations
Ashlee graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associates in Digital Layout and Design. Ashlee started with Wilson Design Associates back in 2012 and left to pursue other creative roles and has returned to use those skills and experience in the role of office manager.
Ashlee’s primary responsibilities at Wilson Design Associates include overseeing budgets, personnel, customer relations, and daily operations. She excels at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Her keen eye for details allows her to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Having worked on and off for Wilson Design Associates in various roles, Ashlee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her current position engaging with sub-contractors, vendors, and clients throughout landscape projects. She takes great pride in personally working with each client, ensuring that their specific needs and desires are met. Witnessing the transformation of a mere concept on paper into a breathtaking living space gives Ashlee a tremendous sense of fulfillment.
With a strong background in brand development and advertising her strong attention to detail surely help in the daily operations and bring a different skillset to the company.
Jim Carrier
Project Manager
With close to 20 years of practical experience in the industry, Jim is our Project Manager. A Michigan native, Jim graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Landscape Architecture, with an emphasis on design.
A Michigan Certified Nurseryman (MCN), Jim established Garden Works Horticultural Services to provide design, build, and maintenance for clients across Michigan before joining Wilson Design Associates. Jim is an active member of the MSU Landscape Architecture Alumnae and a dedicated student of the latest trends in landscape design and maintenance.
